Introduction BLIK
BLIK is the academic student journal for audiovisual culture of the Department Media- and Culture Studies of Utrecht University. BLIK is published three times per year and is distributed among students, lecturers and alumni of Utrecht University. Under the supervision of our editorial staff we offer students a unique platform to publish their papers, articles, reviews and interviews in the field of audiovisual culture. Hereby we are determined to offer motivated and ambitious students the opportunity to publish their own work and with that actively participate in the academic discourse on audiovisual culture. Thereby we wish to further stimulate their academic and intellectual development.
